Heart disease is the leading cause of death for U.S. adults, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Changes to lifestyle, including food choices, can improve symptoms like high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure. In "Heart Smart Eating," learn about 4 categories of nutrients - sodium, fat, added sugar, and fiber - and how each impacts heart health. Attendees will develop skills to support shopping and cooking heart-healthy meals.

This is a virtual webinar that is free to attend.  Please sign up for either the 12-1pm session or the 7-8pm session.  You do not need to attend both.

Please register by December 2 by calling the library at 217-935-5174 or by clicking the "register here" button.
