This program builds on existing cover crop experience and emphasizes more intensive management strategies and decision-making. During a panel discussion, participants will also hear directly from experienced local producers who have successfully integrated cover crops into their operations.
Presentation topics include:
- Cover crop mixtures and seeding rates
- Drone seeding cover crops (including demonstration)
- Cover crop management considerations
- Economics of cover cropping
- Farmer panel
