Homegrown Harvest is a series of family-friendly workshops designed to support vegetable gardens of all skill levels. Join horticulture educator, Sarah Vogel monthly on the fourth Friday at 9 a.m. for tips and tricks to make your garden successful.
Fall Sessions:
August 28 | Composting and Cover Crops
- Explore the benefits of cover crops in the vegetable garden and learn how to create and maintain healthy compost from garden waste.
September 25 | Tool Care and Fall Gardening
- Learn proper care for garden tools and ways to "put the garden to bed" for a healthier, lower-maintenance spring.
What to bring: Sunscreen, a water bottle, and your questions!
Please note: Due to the nature of outdoor programs, sessions may be canceled for safety during inclement weather.
