Air Frying 101

Did you recently receive or purchase an air fryer? Are you wondering what to do with it? Or are you contemplating investing in one? Perhaps you are curious if it will be as easy to use as they say it will but haven’t taken it out of its box yet. If you answered yes to these questions, consider attending University of Illinois Extension’s upcoming program, Air Frying 101.

Air frying can be a creative way to stretch your food dollars, help you save money on energy costs, and it can be a healthy alternative to other cooking methods.

During this class, we will discuss the health benefits of limiting certain types of dietary fat and healthy options when using your air fryer. We will also explore the pros and cons of air fryers, offer helpful tips to make cooking safe and effortless, and leave you with a few healthy and tasty recipes to try at home! 

Air Frying 101 will be held on Wednesday, March 20, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Freeport Public Library, 100 E Douglas St, Freeport, IL.

There is a $5.00 fee, which will cover the educational session. Space is limited, so register today! If you need an accommodation to participate, please let our office know when you register.
