Soil can be one of the main reasons your plants do well or ultimately fail. This class will help you understand what your soil is doing, how to read soil tests, strategies to address soil problems, and inventive tests you can do to measure soil health.

The Beyond Dirt class is aimed for homeowners and growers that are looking to elevate their soil management to the next level and begin to better manage and glean more information on how their soil works for them. Topics to be covered will include the basics of soil, soil biology, organic matters, and fertilizers. In addition, compost and vermicompost bins will be discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring their soil test results to share with the class.
