Carroll County 4-H members and leaders were recognized at the annual Achievement Night, held Sunday, November 10 at the Carroll County Farm Bureau. Achievement Night is held to recognize 4-H member’s accomplishments and to encourage youth to excel in the development of their leadership skills. Federation and Senior Ambassador 4-H members Briana Wilkinson and Adam Rath served as the speakers and assisted with handing out the awards to the winners.
Club award winners included:
Top Secretary’s Book – Lakin Getz, Carroll County Kids.
Top Treasurer’s Book – Allison Burrs, Milledgeville Hotshots.
Clover Crazy Scrapbook – Chadwick Achievers.
Community Service Accomplishments - Chadwick Achievers.
4-H Window Display Contest Winners - Best use of Selected 4-H Theme – Thomson Sandburrs; Best 4-H Message – Milledgeville Hotshots; Most Original – Clever Clovers.
Leadership, project mastery and community service are some of the areas youth are encouraged to explore and develop their skills in throughout the 4-H year. These accomplishments are represented in the completion of the 4-H member’s Excel and Experience record applications. 4-H members that received top recognition in each of the 5 areas included:
