Composting for the Homeowner

Join University of Illinois Extension Natural Resources, Environment, and Energy Educator Jay Solomon for this program. The program will take place on Thursday, September 8 at 1:30 p.m. The program is being held at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office, 204 Vine St. Elizabeth, IL 61028. During this program Jay will discuss different types of composting systems and which ones may best fit what you are looking for. He will also show participants pictures of the different types of composting systems he has set up a local Extension offices along with taking participants outside and showing them the set up at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office.

This program is part of a series that is being held. Other topics being presented are Cool Season Vegetables on August 11, Centerpieces from the Garden on August 25, Grapevine Wreaths on October 4, and Falling Into the Autumn Vegetable Garden on October 13. All programs will being at 1:30 p.m. and will be held at the Jo Daviess County Extension Office. Cost varies for each program.
