Lee County 4-H’ers receive awards and volunteers recognized at annual recognition event

On November 23, Lee County 4-H members and volunteers gathered at the Lee County 4-H Center. After Lunch, The Lee County Extension Foundation hosted a silent dessert auction fundraiser to benefit the Lee County Extension programs. Many delicious items were auctioned off including a pumpkin pie, cookies, brownies and many more. Proceeds from the auction go towards scholarships given to outstanding 4-H’ers in Lee County.

The Lee County 4-H Federation group hosted the Achievement portion of the event.  Throughout the year, 4-H members work hard in their clubs, communities, county and state.  Achievement night gives 4-H’ers the chance to be recognized for everything they have done.

Recognition was also given to the Lee County Leaders for all their hard work and years of service.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
