New Dixon 4-H Club gives back to the community

New Lee County 4-H Club, Lucky Clovers met December 4 to make items to give back to the community.  Club members made and decorated cookies for the Dixon Fire Department, Police Department, Dixon Library, and Dixon Post Office. They also crafted dog toys out of old t-shirts to give to the shelter pets at Granny Rose Animal Shelter.

Lucky Clovers 4-H Club is an inclusive place for kids of all kinds and will be learning about different topics throughout the 4-H year. A few of those topics include Snacking Fun and Crime & Spy Science. The club meets on Wednesdays at 6pm in Dixon. Lucky Clovers 4-H Club is supported in part by Florissa. Lucky Clovers is accepting enrollment. For more information, contact Kathy Book at 815-857-3525.
