Outdoor Adventure with Illinois Extension's Cloverbud Safari!

PROPHETSTOWN, Ill. — Get ready for an adventure! Illinois Extension is excited to announce the Cloverbud Outdoor Safari, a fun and educational program designed for children ages 5-7. This engaging event will occur on Tuesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Prophetstown.

The Cloverbud Outdoor Safari offers young explorers the chance to dive into nature with various hands-on activities and exciting learning opportunities. Participants will embark on a scavenger hunt, create hula hoop hideouts, and engage in activities that cover fascinating topics such as insects, plants, wind chimes, birds, birdhouses, first aid, camping, and making delicious outdoor snacks.

Program Details:

  • Dates: Tuesday, June 4 & Thursday, June 6
  • Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Location: First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown
  • Age Group: 5-7 years old
  • Cost: $15 per youth
  • Registration: Pre-registration is required. Spaces are limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants, with a maximum of 20 children.
