Youth spend hours each day snapping photos of themselves and friends on their phones so why not give your child the knowledge of how to plan for a great photograph. Sign them up today for the University of Illinois Extension Photography SPIN Club. Three sessions will run October 16, 23 and November 6 from 3-5 p.m. at the Whiteside Extension Office in Sterling.
The club will train youth in basic camera settings, selecting a subject, composition, lighting, printing and managing photos. The fee is $10.00 and youth ages 11-13 may attend. Cameras will be provided for the workshop. Pre-registration is required online by 10/13 or calling 815-632-3611.
For a fun and safe experience, we will be following health and safety guidelines including face masks, hand washing, limited participants and social distancing.
