University of Illinois Extension Celebrates Madison County 4-H Volunteers April 19 - 25

April 19-25 is National Volunteer Week, and University of Illinois Extension wants to thank the 4-H volunteers who guide and support the nearly 200,000 4-H participants in Illinois.

National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating that by working together, communities have the ability to meet challenges and accomplish goals.

In Madison County, there are multiple volunteers who are inspiring youth involved in county and local  4-H club programs.  4-H Club Leaders include: Laurie Raymond, Patty Uhe, Karen Mersinger, Amy Maher, Lori Denton, Margaret Weis, Lynn Weis, Richelle Ernst, Jenny Gilbreth, Candy Rensing, Megan Henschen, Sammie Neumeister, Joyce Rosales, Mindy Cory, Marci Knight, Debbie Adamick, Amanda Simon, Sandy Ohren, Laura Ohren, Connie Frick, Jen Grotefendt, Susan Moore, Nancy Werden, Jan Denby, Kari Hart, Nicole Hellon, Deanna Obernuefemann, Rachel Burcham, Charlene Bandy, Jim Stanton, Max Bremer and Stephanie Malench in addition to many parents and grandparents who help all year long.
