Youth medication safety workshop on October 26

ROCKFORD, IL- University of Illinois Extension 4-H and UIC College of Pharmacy will be offering a hands-on workshop on Thursday, October 26th. The workshop will be held at UIC College of Pharmacy in Rockford from 5:00- 6:15 pm.  Participants will learn the importance of proper storage and safe usage of medications.  The will also learn the importance of the role a pharmacist has in patient care.

All youth ages 12 and up, are invited to attend this workshop at no charge. Pre-registration is required. You may register by visiting our website at go.illinois.edu/jsw or by calling the Extension Office at 815-986-4357.  4-H membership is not required; however all participants will be expected to comply with the same high behavior standards expected of 4-H’ers.
