Deb Koch grew up in Freeport, and has worked for the University of Illinois Extension since 2011. Deb graduated from Aquin High School and has an Associate’s Degree from Highland Community College.

Her job as an Office Support Associate allows her to work with the public and the entire staff in Unit 1 on a regular basis. Deb takes care of the fiscal responsibilities for the unit, supporting office staff and working closely with departments within the University system. Deb also works closely with the County Director dealing with HR issues and assisting with the annual fiscal budgets and audits.

She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, crafting and helps her husband with their beekeeping hobby.
