Henry Craft is the 4-H Youth Development Educator serving DeWitt and Piatt counties. Craft joined Illinois Extension in 2023, bringing over 8 years of experience in the field of Higher Education and 4 years in the business field.

Craft graduated from Lincoln Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in intercultural studies and again with a master’s degree in counseling.  He is also a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory: IDI, LLC.

Henry is a native of DeWitt County, where he and his family are active volunteers as 4-H leaders in Farmer City.  His wife Melissa and three children – Gideon, Phoebe, and Cecilia, live rurally on a small hobby farm, raising their own poultry as well as vegetable and tea gardens. Craft enjoys several hobbies, including gardening and animal husbandry.

Craft is excited to serve the communities of DeWitt and Piatt counties and welcomes community members to connect with him.
