Julie Miller grew up in rural Stephenson County, and has worked for the University of Illinois Extension since 2008. Her job as an Office Support Assistant allows her to work with the public and the entire staff in Unit 1 on a regular basis, by serving as the office receptionist, supporting office activities, and providing program support.

 She was an active member in 4-H and FFA, played sports and showed registered dairy cattle at local fairs while growing up. She graduated from Dakota High School and has a degree from the Univ. of Wis. Madison in the Dairy Short Course program and also and Associates Degree from Highland Community College in Ag. Business Management.

She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, fishing, and attending local fairs.
