Kirby Hunt is the SNAP-Ed community outreach worker for Richland County. She holds an associate degree in human services and joined extension after serving many years in the early childhood development field.
As a SNAP-Ed community outreach worker, Hunt provides free nutrition classes to the community and nutrition programming in local schools. Meeting and talking with people out in the community is what she enjoys most about her job; the opportunity to work with both kids and adults is a bonus.
Hunt resides in West Salem. She has a daughter, a son, and two grandchildren. She enjoys road tripping with family, reading, watching movies, and attending flea markets and craft fairs.
