Leah Erke is an educator with the ABCs of School Nutrition program. Her role is to provide professional development training for school nutrition staff in K-12 schools.
Leah holds a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management from University of Illinois, and an Associate’s degree in Dietetics from St. Louis Community College.
She joined Illinois Extension in 2016, after serving nine years at John Wood Community College as the Department Chair and Instructor of the Restaurant and Hospitality Management Program. She also was the Food Service Director at Hannibal Regional Hospital for eight years before working at John Wood.
Leah resides in Quincy with her husband, Dale. They have three grown children.
