Neonicotinoids often referred to as ‘neonics’, is a popular family of insecticides used in United States agriculture and the green industry. As this new group of insecticides has emerged on the scene, some have questioned the safety of this product and environmental impact. Join University of Illinois Extension educator, Chris Enroth, as we discuss what are neonics, how are they used, and shed some light on what hazards they may pose to humans and the world we live in.
