Notes on the Event Schedule Change

All face-to-face events organized by Illinois Extension have been cancelled, suspended, or transitioned to online delivery. This will apply to all events previously scheduled through May 31, 2020. Please check our event calendar to learn more about the status of any of our events.

Neonicotinoids often referred to as ‘neonics’, is a popular family of insecticides used in United States agriculture and the green industry. As this new group of insecticides has emerged on the scene, some have questioned the safety of this product and environmental impact. Join University of Illinois Extension educator, Chris Enroth, as we discuss what are neonics, how are they used, and shed some light on what hazards they may pose to humans and the world we live in.
