Women working with fabric

As part of the new DMP 4-H Virtual Clubs, this is a STEAM club hosted by Piatt County 4-H, that will focus on the science, technology, engineering, art, and math of clothing and textiles. The first skills learned will focus on clothing projects: hand sewing construction.  At this time no sewing machine is required.

The 4-H club is open to ages 8 to 18 years of age. All skill levels are welcome. Those with sewing experience may be asked to be teen teachers.

We will have a monthly club meeting via ZOOM the first meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 8 at 6:30 PM. After that our meetings will be held the second Monday of each month. During this meeting, the leader will cover the self home- study project(s) and the sewing focus for the month.

The cost of the club is $20.00 to non-members for a 4-H Membership, and free for active 4-H members. A ZOOM invitation and material list will be emailed once registration is completed.

Participants are expected to purchase their own supplies and equipment!
