2020-21 4-H Webinar Series hosted by 4-H in DuPage, Kane and Kendall Counties

Do you want to learn more about how this national youth program can be a fit for your family? Join us to find out why families choose 4-H and how these programs encourage learning, leadership, and life skills. (View full flyer here)

On Jan. 7, learn about the 4-H Cloverbud program, which is designed for ages 5 to 7. Parents can get an overview of this program for budding 4-H'ers and ask questions. Plus, 4-H staff will lead a brief activity for the kids using items* you have around the house or yard.

  • *Cloverbud activity materials: As part of the session, we will be leading a twig weaving activity for youth. Each child will need: child-safe scissors,a twig with lots of branches, a weavable material (such as yarn, string, natural vines from the yard, etc.), and items such as leaves, feathers, or other things to decorate the creation. Most likely, an adult will need to tie the first knot to get the weaving going and may need to help with any cutting too.
