OTHER SESSIONS IN THIS SERIES:

January 14, 2021 - Everyday Superhero

A role model is often hard to define because it can be different for everyone, however, most everyone has a role model in his or her life. Who you view as your role model depends as much on you as it does on the person you admire. With a little focus and intentionality, you too can become an Everyday Super Hero. Register for January Session

February 28, 2021 - Juggling Life: Learning to Say No

Oftentimes teens (and adults) find themselves getting buried in activities and schoolwork. There are so many options available to keep teens engaged and active – sports, clubs, jobs, civic groups, 4-H, Scouts, church, friends, etc., that it is difficult to handle all of the opportunities that are given. Understanding how much you can handle and when to say no is a hard task for many. Learning when and how to say no in a tactful and respectful manner can be a skill that will benefit teens into adulthood. Register for February Session

March 25, 2021 - The Benefits of Service

Service can be defined as the action of helping or doing work for someone. Service is included in the 4-H Citizenship mission mandate, with many 4-H projects and programs including service as part of the experience. While service is common, thinking about who benefits and who may be easily overlooked without intentional focus.  Register for March Session

April 15, 2021 - Stress Management

In today’s world, everyone, teens included, is busier, under more stress, and face higher demands than ever before. With these higher demands, it is important to help teens build the skills they need to reduce their stress and keep calm. Having ways to reduce stress can help youth to be more productive, happier, and healthier. Additionally, these are vital skills that will help teens throughout life. Register for April Session

June 17, 2021 - Guest Speaker to be determined. Register for June Session
