Join the Vermilion County Master Gardeners on Tuesday, August 17 at 6 pm for a program on raised beds. 

VCMG's will share their experiences in using raised beds. They will discuss different materials, bed size, soil, row covers, irrigation, and using trellises to maximize vegetable production.  

Douglas Discovery Garden has won several State Master Gardener Teamwork Awards for their different innovative projects and community outreach. Attendees are welcome to stroll thru the small orchard, view numerous raised beds and flower gardens. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. There will be handouts for attendees.

The program will take place at Douglas Discovery Garden at 6 pm CDT on August 17, 2021. RAIN or SHINE Please bring a chair.

Douglas Discovery Garden is conveniently located in southeast Danville, just off the Bowman Ave exit from I-74 at the corner of Florida and Wayne.
