Can paper triangles teach youth to break down complicated problems? It can, and the process is fun! Participants will leave with a finished art project they will want to keep and use!

Knowing how to break down complicated issues into smaller, manageable steps is a life skill we can all use. Learning to do this at a younger age can benefit youth in the classroom and beyond. Clark County 4-H is offering a workshop using paper triangles to give participants hands-on experience with the four steps of computational thinking.

Often associated with computers and coding, computational thinking can help users look for patterns, unravel complex ideas, focus on what's important, and create step-by-step instructions.

Tackling Triangles is a workshop for all eight and older youth. If you need reasonable accommodation to participate, call 217-826-5422.
