
Quads Away Drone Experience
A 4-H Special Interest (SPIN) Club
This six-session experience is perfect for anyone wanting to learn about drones! Using the 4-H Quads Away Drone Curriculum, youth will gain an understanding of drones through a variety of engaging activities. During this six-session experience, youth will learn aerospace fundamentals and principles, how a drone works, FAA regulations and privacy, the basics of UAV operation, and more.
DESIGNED FOR: Youth ages 11-18
MEETS: 2 to 4 p.m. July 11-15, 2022 in Wheaton OR July 25-29, 2022 in St. Charles
- Exact locations will be confirmed prior to the start of the first meeting.
BONUS DAY: Both clubs will meet August 8 in St. Charles for a special event with guest presenter Keith Jacobs, State 4-H Youth Development STEM Specialist
COST: $45 (includes $20 4-H Enrollment*)

*This includes $20 enrollment for 2021-22 4-H year plus $25 to cover materials/supplies. The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If you already completed this process for this 4-H year, the cost for this club is only $25.
