Build & Break Bridges
This two-part workshop allows youth to learn about engineering and bridge design, and build a linguine bridge. The next day, they come back to test its strength!
Who: Designed for ages 8-18, it's a great fit for kids and teens interested in building or engineering, students on Winter Break looking for hands-on fun, or future Bridge Bust participants. No need to be a 4-H member to participate.
When: Friday, Jan. 6, 6-8 p.m. AND Saturday, Jan. 7 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Kendall County Extension, 7775B IL Route 47, Yorkville IL 60560
Cost: $5 per team, with 2 to 4 youth per team
