4-H Can Construction - February 21, 2023 at Shawnee Community College Educational Center/Auditorium. This event is a canned food drive. 4-H clubs, FFA teams, and community organizations are invited to construct a display out of canned goods that will fit into a 10ft X 10ft. space with a 6ft. height restriction. Any non-perishable food item is eligible, and all food items will be packaged and donated to local food pantries following the awards.  First, Second, and Third place awards will be given  in the categories of 1) Most Cans Collected and 2) People's Choice. Organizations may set up canned food displays on February 20th from noon - 8pm and February 21 from 9am - 2pm.  The public may view displays on February 21st from 2pm - 7pm. Awards will be presented immediately after the public viewing.
