  • Beads & sequins | Ages 10-18 | March 28 | 10 a.m. to noon | $10
    • Learn how to bead & sequin for fashion or fun. Youth will sew accents, using thread and a needle, to stylize a T-shirt. Choose to accent a shirt's design or logo (see example), or create your own design on a plain shirt.
    • Please bring a shirt with you. Other supplies included.

  • Crochet | Ages 8-18 | March 28 | 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. | Free
    • Learn a simple crochet pattern and create a circular "scrubbie," similar to a spa loofah. Use netting or special yarn to make these flat loofahs, great for exfoliating skin or cleaning of coated pans, non-stick cookware, or even the kitchen sink.
    • As a group, we'll be creating several scrubbies, so you can take one home and share others for our community service project to donate.
    • Already know how to crochet? Come join the fun, spend some time visiting and doing a hands-on activity, and help us to create more items for this community service project.
    • Supplies: The office has crochet hooks and all supplies available. You're welcome to bring your favorite hook as well.

Important Notes: For participants who want to attend both sessions, please feel free to bring a nut-free sack lunch for between programs. Please register for each program separately.
