
The Tech Explorers Club is a 6-part special interest (SPIN) club that teaches technology and "maker" principles with hands-on activities. This session will focus on Arduino is an open-source electronics prototyping platform.
Ages: 9-18 (as of 9/1/22)
Meetings: 5:30-7:30 p.m. | 5/17, 5/24, 6/6, 6/7, 6/13, 6/16
Focus: The Arduino hardware and software was designed for artists, designers, hobbyists, newbies, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. Arduino can interact with buttons, LEDs, motors, speakers, GPS units, cameras, the internet, and even your smart-phone or TV!
Location: Kendall County Extension Office, 7775B IL Route 47, Yorkville, IL 60560
Cost to participate: $35*, which includes 4-H enrollment for 2022-23 year.
- *The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If a youth joins multiple clubs within the same 4-H year, it only needs to be paid once. If already enrolled and paid through another 4-H club this 4-H year (2022-2023), your cost for this program will be $15.
