Join Illinois Extension 4-H for a good old-fashioned harvest festival! This free event is perfect for the whole family – join us and spend some quality time with family and friends.
Enjoy over 10+ educational stations including animals, bounce house, creative writing contest, arts and crafts stations, bb-gun range, and so much more! There is something for everyone. After spending some time going through each station, enjoy lunch or dinner out with our onsite food truck (yes, we’re bringing in a food truck!) – food is at your own expense courtesy of Joey's Red Hots.
There is so much to enjoy at Fall into 4-H – you won’t want to miss it! No registration, just come on out!

Coloring Contest
Using your best artistic ability, color the coloring page for your grade level or design your very own fall themed image to enter our contest. Submissions must be turned into the Will County Extension Office either via mail, in person, or through your school by 10/13. Each grade level will have a winner that is announced at the event on 10/21.
Short Story Contest
Do you have a Spooky or Fall themed story you would like to tell!? Are you a hit at campfires with your friends and family? Then join us for our Spooky Fall-Themed Story Contest! Download the rules below!
Costume Contest
Do you like to sew, design clothes, or maybe you just have a super awesome costume you want to show off!? Registration starts at 2:30 pm on the event day and the contest is at 3:00 pm. Come dressed in your (family-appropriate!) costume. Two divisions: store-bought costumes and homemade costumes. Winners will be selected by our judges.
Pie Contest
Do you like to bake? Do you have a favorite fall pie recipe? Join us for a fall baking contest at Fall into 4-H. Register for this event the day of between 1:00 and 1:30. The first 50 pies will be accepted, and the winners will be selected by their perspective categories. Categories include Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan, Cherry, Peach, Blueberry, and all other types of pies not listed.
Trending Dance Contest
Join us for a trending dance off! Teams or individuals can compete in popular dances, or create their own from the list of music! Contest takes place at Fall Into 4-H and registration will take place at 3:30pm with the event starting at 4:00.
