Homegrown Healthy is a program series that combines weekly topic lessons with a gardening and nutrition component. Participants will meet for one hour once a week over 10 weeks. Horticulture Educator Bruce Black will introduce a new topic each week, followed by hands-on in the garden, tasting a recipe made with garden produce, and concluding with how to store the produce. In other words, it will take you through the entire process of planting, growing, harvesting, cooking, and storing produce. Individuals and families are invited to register for the course.
