Join the Partnership for a Healthy Lee County at the Walk for Hunger event as we raise awareness about hunger and support the health of our neighbors. To participate, simply bring a non-perishable, healthy food item that will be donated to the Dixon Community Food Pantry to be distributed to our friends and families who need extra food support.

During the event, enjoy free, fun, family activities along a walking path as you take steps to end hunger. Activities include face painting, blood pressure screenings, a demonstration at 10:30 by the Dixon Police K-9 patrol unit team, visits with Officer McWethy and police therapy dog, Indy, popcorn and a chance to see a firetruck up close!
