
Dig in with Master Gardeners and 4-H this spring for a six-session exploration of all things gardening! In this club, kids will learn through hands-on projects at the Idea Garden and take home cool stuff, all while growing lifelong skills.
Ages: 8-12 (as of 9/1/24)
Meetings: 1-3 p.m. on select Sundays this spring

May 4 - Petals & Pots: Mother’s Day Garden Creations
May 18 - Botany in Action: From Petals to Decomposers
June 1 - Flourish & Thrive: Designing for Nature
June 8 - Bug Bites & Plant Fights: Insects, Pests, and Plant Health
June 22 - Garden to Table: Flowers, Food & Tea
Location: Kane County Extension Idea Garden, 3480 IL Route 38, St. Charles
Cost to participate: $75 (includes $55 for supplies and $20* 4-H Enrollment) T-Shirt Provided!
- *The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If a youth joins multiple clubs within the same 4-H year, it only needs to be paid once. If already enrolled and paid through another 4-H club this 4-H year (2024-2025), then the cost would be $55.
