Made by Me: Youth Sewing Series

Calling all creative youth! Join us for our Made by Me: Youth Sewing Series. This will be a hands-on sewing series where participants will learn basic sewing machine skills and complete fun, beginner-friendly projects to take home. The series will be weekly beginning on Thursday,  July 10, 2025, through August 7, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Winnebago County Extension Office, 1040 N 2nd St, Rockford, IL 61107. This five-session series will take youth from learning the basics of how to use a sewing machine all the way to creating their own cozy lounge pants in the final class. These classes are open to ALL youth aged 11- 18 years.  You do NOT have to be in 4-H to register! There is no fee to participate, but space is limited.
