Come join us at the annual Grundy County 4-H Fair to check out the accomplishments of our youth's hard work from the past year as they compete for prizes and a chance to represent Grundy County at this year's Illinois State Fair.  The schedule of events for this year's fair is below.

Saturday, July 26th

    • Opening Ceremonies & Ribbon Cutting

    • Judging of Poultry
    • Judging of Rabbits
  • 10:15 A.M.          
    • Conference judging of Foods projects
    • Conference judging of Floriculture, Horticulture, &Vegetable Gardening Plant & Soil Sciences, Corn, Small Grains, Soybeans
    • Conference judging of Lego’s, Knex, etc.
  • 10:30 A.M.        
    • Judging of Horse & Pony Classes at Horse Arena throughout the day until day’s schedule finished
  • 11:00 A.M.         
    • Conference judging of Aerospace projects
    • Conference judging of Drones
    • Conference judging of Models & Collections
  • 12:30 P.M.           
    • Judging of sheep followed by Camelids

    • Conference judging of Chalk, Carbon, Pigment, Fiber and Nature

    • Clothing judging
  • 10:00 A.M.      
    • Conference judging of Computers
    • Horse Games
  • 10:30 A.M.       
    • Check-in for judging competition - sheep show arena - open to all 4-H members
    •  Dress Revue (or 30 minutes following conclusion of clothing judging) – Krull Memorial site outside exhibit halls
  • 11:00 A.M.      
    • Conference judging of Small Pets, Veterinary and Animal Sciences (Beef, Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Goat, Dairy, Horses, Poultry, and Swine Books)
  • 11:30 A.M.      
    •  Rocket Launch (Optional) – Parking lot outside fence
  • 1:00 P.M.         
    • 4-H Games – Horse Show Arena
  • 3:00P.M.         
    • Best of 4-H in the Pavilion
    • Presentation of flags
    • Presentation of State Fair Exhibit Winners and Award winners
