Clover 4 Communities: Service Learning Day
January 19 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
10 a.m. to noon
During Clovers 4 Communities: Service Learning Day, local 4-H clubs will host hands-on service projects for local youth to join in!
This is a great opportunity for young people to make a difference, meet other kids and teens, and learn what 4-H service is all about. (No need to be 4-H members to participate.) Mini-service project stations include:
- Packing household products for neighbors in need
- Packing grab-and-go meals for local food pantries
- Making birthday cards to go with Birthday Bag donations
- and more!
Stop in during this time frame at the DuPage County Extension Office (Naperville) or Kendall County Fairgrounds (Yorkville).
This is a FREE family event. We welcome donations of personal hygiene items for the local food pantry. (See list below for ideas)
