Sign up to bring your cattle for weigh-in and tattooing!
Tattooing, weigh-in, and EID tags will be done for beef Saturday January 31st, 8:00 am at the Kankakee County Fairgrounds Beef Barn. We should be done by noon.
You must sign-up to bring your animals! Please indicate the number you are bringing and if you will need an EID 840 tag. Register with the button.
PLEASE NOTE: All beef animals will need an 840 EID tag to exhibit at the county fair 4-H shows. If your animal already has one, it does not need to be replaced. Animals that are not part of weigh-in should to contact the Department of Ag or their vet to get a premise ID for their animals. Linked below is guidance.
We should have the state requirements for tattooing, tagging, weighing, and ownership within the week. Please look out for these if you plan on showing at the state fair!

REMINDER: You must have registered by January 1 to be able to show this year. If you missed the deadline, or something happens to your animal, you may still show a poster at general projects. Please contact the office with any questions about this.
