WILA brings leaders together from Adams, Brown, Hancock, Pike, and Schuyler counties.
Academy Objectives:
- Acquire a broad understanding of the complex issues and tasks facing leaders.
- Build relationships necessary to resolve the challenges ahead.
- Identify opportunities.
- Become better prepared for active involvement, whether in the workplace, as a volunteer in a community, organization, or holding public office.
- Take tours to see how the region has, is, and plans to respond to these complex topics.
2026 Tentative Dates:
- Sessions will be held on March 4 and 18; April 1, 15, and 29; and May 6.
- Topics include: Real Colors, Economic Development, Education, Agriculture, Media, Healthcare, Tourism, and Government.
