What do flowers, food, and pollinators have in common? We all like pretty flowers, and everyone needs food to survive, but we wouldn’t have either without the help of some little friends called pollinators! Come learn more about many different types of pollinators and how they help us grow flowers and food around the world. Join us at the Idea Garden, located near the intersection of South Lincoln Ave. and West Florida Ave. on the University of Illinois campus in Urbana. After the program, each participant will have an opportunity to participate in a craft that they get to take home - a cute bee made out of beads! The program is offered at 9:00 am AND 10:30 am.
This program is for children ages 5-11. Children must meet the age requirement in order to participate in the craft.
