People walking for exercise along a wide, tree-lined park path beside a pond.

Walking is one of the most accessible and effective ways to improve overall health. Let's Walk for Wellness is a 6-week program that will help you connect with others, build confidence, and take meaningful steps towards better health. Join University of Illinois Extension this fall for a walking program designed to help you get moving, enjoy the outdoors, and explore beautiful local parks in the Waterloo area operated by the Waterloo Park District and Baebler Educational Farm, which is owned and operated by the Monroe County Extension and 4-H Education Foundation.

Sessions will take place at Lakeview Park, Konarcik Park, and Baebler Educational Farm. There is no cost to attend. To get the most out of the program, we recommend attending all 12 sessions, though we understand that scheduling conflicts may arise.
