Parenting Again
Body

The number of grandparents who are raising their grandchildren continues to rise. This is due to many reasons, some of which include substance abuse, child abuse, neglect, parental illness, death, domestic violence, divorce, teen pregnancy, and incarceration. This issue knows no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.

For many grandparents, it is more difficult to parent the second time around. They may be faced with raising their grandchildren at a time when their age, poor health, and limited finances compound their problems. In spite of these challenges, grandparents do their best to help themselves and their grandchildren succeed. Parenting Again provides helpful information for those second-time parents.
