Champaign County 4-H animal shows celebrate youth achievement

4-H'ers present their beef for judging

CHAMPAIGN, Ill - The Champaign County 4-H dog, horse, and livestock shows highlight the dedication, knowledge, and hard work of local 4-H members. Throughout the shows, exhibitors demonstrated the results of months of care, training, and preparation while showcasing their animal husbandry skills in the ring. Youth competed in a wide variety of livestock species, including beef, sheep, swine, goats, poultry, rabbits, dairy cattle, horses, and dogs. Exhibitors earned numerous Champion and Grand Champion honors across breeding, market, and showmanship classes, reflecting the strength and diversity of Champaign County's 4-H livestock program.

These accomplishments would not have been possible without the dedication of volunteer superintendents, judges, families, and countless volunteers who generously gave their time and expertise to create a positive and educational experience for every exhibitor.
