Prophetstown Food Pantry Receives Gold Certificate of Achievement

The Prophetstown Food Pantry was presented the Gold Certificate of Achievement for its outstanding work with Illinois Extension staff, making sustainable changes to its food pantry environment using the Nutrition Environment Food Pantry Toolkit. The toolkit is a policy, systems, and environmental change intervention that helps create pantry spaces where the healthy choice is easy.

 

The pantry is open each Tuesday morning from 9-11 a.m.

The pantry is located in the American Legion Hall at 219 Washington Street in Prophetstown.
