Tara Chenoweth

Tara Chenoweth joined University of Illinois Extension in 2014 as a 4-H program coordinator for Henderson and Warren counties.

In 2018 she began working as a community worker in the SNAP-Ed program. She can be found sharing her knowledge with others in community agencies, food pantries, and public schools throughout Henderson and McDonough Counties. Tara enjoys working in SNAP-Ed because it focuses on nutrition education and obesity prevention in an interactive, evidence-based, and behavior-change focused format.

Tara received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts specializing in Sociology from Western Illinois University.
