Connie is the Illinois Extension Program Coordinator for Master Naturalist and Master Gardener programs in DeKalb County. She works with Extension volunteers, educators, and the community to facilitate and promote educational programs in DeKalb County.

Connie earned a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. 

Before becoming an Extension Program Coordinator, she worked for 13 years as a U of I Extension Community Worker in Natural Resources at the Natural Resource Education Center in Russell Woods Forest Preserve, Genoa.
