The East Central Illinois Master Naturalists and Champaign County Climate Coalition invite you to join us for a Happy Hour Hike, the final Friday of the month from 5-6 pm at local natural areas. These meet-ups are designed to be low key opportunities to enjoy a walk and talk with conservation-minded folks in our region. Whether you are just getting curious about our local environment or it is your full-time job, anyone is welcome to join. You will be in the company of others who enjoy sustainability and climate-related activities and conversation.

This month we will explore the Kickapoo Rail Trail starting in Urbana with Stacey Clementz. We will meet at 5 pm on May 27 at the North West corner of the Walmart Parking Lot, 100 S High Cross Rd, Urbana, IL 61802. There is no registration necessary, just swing by the meeting location at 5 pm. After our Happy Hour Hike, folks are invited to head over to Green Drinks at Riggs, 1901 S High Cross Rd,
Urbana, IL 61802. This month we are talking about growing native plants in the home landscape with the owners of Well-Fed Caterpillar, a native plant nursery and landscape design in the Champaign area. Find more about Green Drinks here.
