Join us to learn how to plant and grow garlic, AND come home with your very own plant!

What crop can you plant during fall, harvest in early summer to free up beds, and is great for cooking? Garlic of course! Garlic is a long-season, over-wintering crop that does best when planted in the fall to be harvested in the early summer.  Garlic is well suited to both small areas or large operation alike.

Join Holly Froning, University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener coordinator for this awesome workshop all about planting garlic! You will learn how to plant garlic, challenges to watch for, and hands on training. Everyone will go home with garlic to plant in their garden!

The registration cost for this program is $10. Register in advance by September 7.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please contact froning@illinois.edu. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your access needs.
