This rabbit clinic is for youth ages 8-18, we will be learning proper rabbit showmanship, education on rabbit breeds, and how to show rabbits and cavies (Guinea Pigs). We will also have a Q&A at the end. You do not need to bring your rabbit, but that is fine if you would like to. Please bring a pencil and a notebook.

A message from the presenter:
My name is Joel Marshall. I am the current Director of ARBA District 5, ARBA Judge 656 and ARBA Youth Director for District 5. My parents started raised rabbits since before I was born. I grew up with a lot of these folks that are Hall of Famers. That doesn’t mean I’m old, just that I started young. I have traveled extensively throughout the USA and Canada. I have seen just about everything and have tried to bring some good ideas back into our area. I was raised through the 4-H program as well as the Youth program with the IRBA. The hobby is about raising quality rabbits and cavies and showing them. It is also about the camaraderie and friendships developed along the way. I have raised most every breed in the Standard but currently have English Spots, Silvers and American Sables. My oldest daughter shows with me and now my Grandson Sammy is starting to show. Four Generations and growing. I enjoy the Challenge to this day of producing that next “good one”.

Registration for this event takes place through ZSuite, the Illinois 4-H enrollment system.
