Tree Walk

Join us at Bremer Sanctuary, just north of Hillsboro, for a guided Tree Walk with Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Andrew Holsinger. 

Learn about what trees we can utilize in the landscape and avoid the pitfalls of planting a tree in the wrong site. You will also find some common invasive plants and learn how they negatively impact the environment and how to control their spread. Bremer Sanctuary is it a protected area and home for scores of birds and animals in central Montgomery County, it is also an education center and a showplace for natural areas restoration.
