Intro to Python Coding: Spring Break Series
Learn the basics of Python coding, including variables, lists, conditions, loops, strings, and more in this hands-on, three-part Spring Break workshop.
Grade level: 6-12
Meets: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 26-March 28 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Location: DuPage County Extension Office, 1100 E. Warrenville Road, Naperville IL 60563
Cost to participate: $5 per youth
Important notes:
- No need to be a 4-H member to participate.
- Experience with Scratch will be very helpful.
- Participants will need to bring their own computer, Chromebook*, or other appropriate device. (*A few Chromebooks may be available to borrow.)
- Participants can bring a nut-free lunch to each day.
- Led by 4-H Teen Science Ambassadors.
Registration required. Space may be limited.
How to register:
- Log into your 4-H ZSuite account OR Create a 4-H ZSuite account
- If new to 4-H and creating a new account, choose "no club"
- If you are a current 4-H member, just log in
- Once logged into ZSuite, go to the events section and choose "Intro to Python Coding: Spring Break"
- Complete the registration for this workshop series
